While we do use the term “fat camp” on this page, we are much better described as a weight loss program. Our program strives to be 100% positive in all aspects.

Tennessee has few if any fat camp options, or options for video game addiction. The renowned Camp Pocono Trails in Pennsylvania is proud to offer its Tennessee campers the Summerland Program. For the first time summer campers will experience how to achieve balance with technology. The new Summerland Program is specially designed for teens who struggle with digital overuse behaviors including coexisting issues like internet addiction, patterns of family and relational discord, sleep deprivation, weight gain and other consequences of unhealthy technology usage.
The Summerland Program at Camp Pocono Trails is the first to address technology overuse in teens. We help with video game overuse, social media overuse, cell phone overuse and more. Our campers will also gain strategies for overcoming isolation due to increased social media. Teens will have fun at a traditional summer camp where they will make lots of friends. Our campers are laughing and meeting many new friends every day in meaningful face-to-face interactions that the isolation of social media takes away. We want to support your teen’s effort to gain balance with technology and restore meaningful relationships.

Fat Camps are weight loss camps specifically designed for the physical and emotional support of adolescents, teens, and young adults. At Camp Pocono Trails we provide a structured environment for kits to have corrective experiences so that they can experience weight loss success. Losing weight is difficult, and we provide the structure needed for proper education, nutrition, fitness, culinary training, and motivation to live at a healthy weight. The long-term results of Camp Pocono Trails are astounding. Our weight loss camp is so effective because we hire the top staff in their respective fields from across the globe. Some campers may struggle with exercising, while others may struggle with eating right or developing the psychological motivation to change. Fat Camp for Teens Schedule
Our camp program is different than “boot camps” or “fat camps” for health and fitness. While many campers come to Camp Pocono Trails to lose weight, others come to build strength, get fit, and/or work on self-esteem issues.
Excitement awaits fat camp participants at Camp Pocono Trails! Our camp program is for campers ages 7-18, young adults 18-21 and we have a family and moms too. Camps from around the globe get fit in a structured environment where they learn how to live happier and healthier, while also allowing this age group choices when it comes to their daily schedule/fitness selection.
Campers wake up bright and early to begin their day at 7:45 am. You can see our morning schedule below:

From Trips to Broadway to White Water Rafting Tennessee Teens Love Summer Camp Excursions
Camp Pocono Trails features very special off site trips that will enhance your Tennessee teen’s summer camp experience like no other! The range of trips includes many places like theme parks, white water rafting, paintball, Camel Beach, and Broadway Shows. These trips are sure to make this a summer your teenager will never forget. During the end of summer our campers look forward to the infamous “End of Summer Mall Shopping Trip!” What better way to celebrate their new image by returning to school looking better than ever and sporting the latest fashion trends of their generation. It should be noted that these excursions are offered once a week and they are optional. Also, some additional fees may apply.

When considering the cost of fat camp, keep in mind the cost of doing nothing, or investing in a fad diet or other half measure that does not work.
