We have it all!

Located just 90 minutes from New York City and Philadelphia, Camp Pocono Trails is the finest weight loss camp in the country. Camp Pocono Trails is accredited by the American Camp Association and sets the standard for weight loss camps with its 350 private acres, beautiful lakefront, two lakeside pools, a multitude of indoor and outdoor activities and the friendliest staff around.

Camp Pocono Trails has the largest and most extensive climbing and adventure course in the country. Our Odyssey Course, Climbing Wall and Giant Swing are the ultimate adventures. The most stringent safety measures are employed as campers defy gravity and experience exhilaration and a great sense of accomplishment. For those afraid of heights this is an optional activity.

Campers get fit in our fully equipped weight room with both universal and free weights. Through personalized one-on-one coaching, our certified personal trainers guide campers to safely meet their goals.

Campers reside in extremely comfortable quarters, with only 6-8 campers in each cabin, and are grouped according to age and length of stay. Unlike other camps that have bunk beds, we intentionally design our camper’s living quarters to be spacious, providing individual beds with comfortable mattresses. Counselors are always available, living in the cabins with campers. Our bathroom and shower facilities, conveniently located inside the bunk, are maintained regularly by a housekeeping service.

Our campus is completely safe and secure with 24-hour security and a full medical staff. Camp Pocono Trails provides a full-time nursing staff and on-site infirmary operating 24/7. Our staff to camper ratio is 1-4.

Most weight loss camps are not ACA accredited. We are. Why is this so important? ACA accreditation is the best evidence parents have of a camp’s commitment to a safe and nurturing environment for their children. This voluntary accreditation assures parents that camp practices have been measured against national standards and go a step beyond a state’s basic licensing requirements. Be careful. Some chains of fitness camps only accredit a single location and not all owned camps. Parents can (and should) verify the accreditation status of any camp at any time on the ACA’s website or by calling 1-800-428-CAMP. Learn More…
